Pros: Lightweight, affordable, sharp out of box, easily concealable, reliable, and good ergos.Ĭons: Chinese made, 8cr13mov steel, small (may not be an issue), funky recureve on mine. Also forgot to mention I have medium sized hands and this thing fits my hands alright especially with the finger grooves in the handles. The minimalist is more of an EDC blade, definitely worth the twenty bucks. Something with a little longer blade and better steel (say 3-4"). If you were to get a knife for your daypack I would look at a bigger blade such as ESEE or TOPS. I like mine a lot especially for twenty bucks.
Like the name implies it as definitely a minimalist knife. It is bad if you want a buschcrafting/hard use beater fixed blade. Using for food prep or opening, and other small cutting chores etc. Its a Good knife if you want a light weight sharp as hell EDC fixed blade. It is easy to conceal, but not much blade (bout 2"). It is small, very small knife which can be good or bad depending on your situation. I realized I liked this thing a lot for what it is. Once I got it out of the god awful clam shell packaging I got a good feel for the knife. I bought one from my local Lowe's for twenty bones.
